Description

This Type 9 - 2.0 input shaft is made from high-strength carburized alloy steel (SAE 8620 or SAE 4320H) and heat-treated through carburizing and quenching, achieving a gear surface hardness of HRC 58–62 for excellent wear resistance and durability. Featuring a precision helical gear profile and internal spline structure, it ensures perfect alignment with the synchronizer and mainshaft. Specifically designed for the Ford Type 9 transmission paired with 2.0L Pinto or Sierra engines, it delivers stable and efficient power input performance.
