Description

The AWT297-8C is a wide-ratio helical cluster gear designed for GM Muncie M21 4-speed manual transmissions, commonly used in 1966–1974 Chevrolet, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, and Buick vehicles. It features a 1" big pin design for enhanced torque capacity and durability. Manufactured from high-quality carburized alloy steel (SAE 8620) and heat-treated to HRC 58–62, this gear offers excellent wear resistance and long-term reliability—ideal for classic car restorations, OEM replacement, or performance upgrades.
