Description

This 1st speed gear (WT297-12B) is designed for the Muncie M22 “Rock Crusher” 4-speed manual transmission. Built with a straight-cut gear profile and integrated baulkring teeth, it delivers superior torque transfer and precise synchro engagement. Manufactured from high-strength carburized alloy steel (SCM415 or SAE 8620) and heat treated to a surface hardness of HRC 58–62, it offers exceptional durability and wear resistance. Ideal for GM muscle cars from 1964 to 1974, including Camaro, Chevelle, and Corvette.
