New Venture NV4500 Reverse Synchronizer Clutching Cone Ring
Description
The NV18923 is the clutching cone/teeth ring used on the NV4500 5-speed reverse gear. Press-fitted to the reverse gear, it supplies the precision-ground friction cone and dog-tooth interface for the 5th/Reverse synchronizer sleeve, delivering consistent blocking torque, clean engagement, and reduced reverse NVH. Built to OE geometry and tolerances, it installs as a true drop-in during rebuilds.
