SG-B145-CS3 — 3rd Gear Countershaft

Description

The SG-B145-CS3 is a countershaft 3rd gear for Honda B-series 5-speed gearboxes (B16A2 / Integra Type R family). Precision-hobbed helical teeth with edge relief and ground bore/faces ensure rigid mesh, low NVH, and efficient torque transfer during 2–3/3–4 shifts. Made from SCM415 / SAE 8620 alloy case-hardening steel and carburized & quenched to HRC 58–62, it installs as an OE-spec drop-in. For best results, service with the mating 3rd mainshaft gear, the 3–4 synchronizer (hub/slider & blocker rings), and related bearings/seals.
