Description

Direct-replacement reverse gear (mainshaft) for the New Venture NV4500 5-speed manual used in Dodge/Ram and GM trucks. The 35-tooth helical profile is precision-hobbed to reduce noise and vibration in reverse, while the bore and locating faces are precision-ground to OE geometry for an easy drop-in during rebuilds. For best results, service with the matching reverse idler gear and, where equipped, the 5th/Reverse synchronizer set.
