Description

This 5th-gear set is engineered for the Aisin L52 / AX5 / G52 5-speed manuals and built to OE ratio and geometry. Supplied as a matched pair—mainshaft 5th gear and countershaft 5th gear—the precision-hobbed helical teeth with edge relief deliver quiet, rigid mesh during 4→5 / 5→4 overdrive shifts. Ground bores and faces hold OE concentricity and runout, enabling a true drop-in overhaul that restores highway efficiency and NVH. We recommend servicing the 5/R synchronizer hub & slider, clutching cone/blocker rings, and related bearings at the same time.
