Description

Direct-replacement third-gear counter gear for the ZF S6-650 6-speed manual, commonly found in Ford Super Duty platforms. The helical profile with precision hobbing and edge-relief promotes smoother mesh with the mainshaft 3rd gear, reducing gear whine and improving shift feel. Journals and locating faces are precision-ground to OE geometry for a clean drop-in during rebuilds. For best results, pair with the matching 3–4 synchronizer set and follow service-manual settings for backlash, endplay, and bearing preload.
