TREMEC S650 2nd Speed Main Shaft Gear
Description
Direct-replacement 2nd speed mainshaft gear for the ZF S6-650 6-speed manual (common on Ford Super Duty). Its integrated synchronizer dog ring (60T) and 31-tooth helical gear are precision-hobbed and finish-ground to OE geometry, delivering smoother 1–2 shifts and lower gear whine. Manufactured from SCM415/SAE 8620 case-hardening steel and carburized & quenched for durability; the bore and locating faces are precision-ground for a clean drop-in during rebuilds. For best results, pair with the matching 1–2 synchronizer hub & slider, blocker rings, and the corresponding counter gear; confirm fitment by transmission tag before ordering.
