M22 Input Shaft - 26T
Description
The AWT297-16F is a high-strength input shaft designed for the Muncie M22 “Rock Crusher” transmission, commonly used in 1971–1974 Chevrolet, Camaro, and Corvette muscle cars. Its close-ratio design ensures smooth shifting and high-RPM stability, ideal for performance and racing use.
Made from SCM415 or SAE 8620 alloy steel, it is precision-machined and heat-treated to a surface hardness of HRC 58–62, offering excellent durability and wear resistance. A trusted upgrade or OE replacement for M22 systems.
