SG-B145-MS3 — 3rd Gear Mainshaft

Description

The SG-B145-MS3 is a mainshaft 3rd gear for Honda B-series 5-speed gearboxes (B16A2 / Integra Type R family). Integrated clutching teeth and precision-hobbed helical profile with ground bore/faces deliver rigid mesh, crisp 2–3/3–4 shifts, and low NVH. Made from SCM415 / SAE 8620 alloy case-hardening steel and carburized & quenched to HRC 58–62, it installs as an OE-spec drop-in. For best results, pair with the mating 3rd counter gear (e.g., SG-B145-CS3 35T), the 3–4 synchronizer (hub/slider & blocker rings), and related bearings/seals.
