Description

Purpose-built transmission gear set for the Toyota 8FG25 (8FG series, 2.5-ton class). Manufactured to OE ratios and geometry, the kit includes the required drive gears and synchronizer components (hub/slider, clutching rings, blocker rings—content depends on application) to enable a drop-in overhaul, restoring shift quality and NVH. Helical gears are produced from SCM415 / SAE 8620 alloy case-hardening steel, carburized & quenched to a surface hardness of HRC 58–62, then precision-hobbed, edge-relieved, and bore/face-ground for quiet, rigid mesh under high load duty cycles. Critical dimensions—lead/profile, concentricity, and end-face runout—are held to OE tolerances. For best results, replace bearings and seals, fill with GL-4 M/T oil, and set endplay, backlash, and preload per the service manual. Verify fitment by VIN/transmission tag and model year.
